I've heard from numerous readers who prefer printed books over eBooks. They would rather read a printed book than a file on an eBook reader or their phone. I've also had readers say they want a book they can put on the shelf.
But the Alec Stover mysteries are novellas. The average length is 150 pages. It's not cost effective to publish a paperback of that length. But a collection of the first three novellas is just over 400 pages. The price of $15 for a paperback of that length is reasonable.
